¶ Account Statement
Usage: The “Account Statement” screen in the General Accounting system is an essential tool for obtaining detailed information about all financial transactions made on a specific account over a specific period of time. This screen allows you to track debit and credit balances, understand the nature of each transaction, and gain a clear picture of the current status of any account in your chart of accounts. Whether you’re reviewing a customer, supplier, expense, or revenue account, this statement provides the transparency you need.
¶ Options
- Period: Specifies the date range for displaying transactions (e.g., today, this month, or a custom period).
- Accounts: Select the account(s) for which you want to view the statement.
- Posted: Include entries that have been approved and finally posted.
- Unposted: Include entries that have not yet been approved or posted.
- View Data: Displays the statement on-screen after selecting the options.
- Print: Prints a copy of the displayed statement.
