The Pricing Policy screen is a vital tool for defining and managing pricing strategies for your products and services.
It allows you to define how different items are priced — manually, by uploading Excel files, or by setting pricing rules.
This ensures consistency across the system and simplifies updates.

When you open the “Price Policy” screen, you’ll see a list of defined pricing policies. Each record includes the following:
Code:
A unique identifier assigned to each pricing policy.
Price Policy Name:
The name of the pricing policy (e.g., Retail Prices, Wholesale Prices for Special Customers, Summer Promotional Prices).
Actions:
Allows direct operations on each record:
Define how numbering and sequencing apply within the system.

When you click “Add”, you’ll be prompted to enter policy details:
Code:
The unique identifier or code assigned to the new pricing policy.
*Price Policy Name :
Mandatory field for defining the policy name.
Upload Excel File:
Option to upload a spreadsheet containing products and their prices.
Update Pricing Policy:
Action or button to apply updates or recalculate based on uploaded data or defined rules.
Inside the Add/Edit Pricing Policy screen, you can add individual pricing items manually using “Add Line”.
Each line includes:
Code:
The product or service code being priced.
Price Policy Name:
Mandatory field to specify which policy the item belongs to.
Unit of Measure:
The measurement unit for the product (e.g., piece, carton, liter, meter).
Variable:
Refers to the linked product/service name for associating the price.
Price:
The base price for the product or service within this policy.
Note:
Sales prices can be adjusted from the sales screen before saving invoices or orders, based on user permissions.
Tax Include:
Checkbox or selection field (Yes/No) indicating whether VAT is included in the entered price.
Price Excluding VAT:
Automatically calculated if Tax Include = Yes, by subtracting VAT from the total price.
If No, it equals the entered price.
Action (Delete):
Deletes the selected pricing line from the current policy.
